ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals possessing the requisite qualifications and experience to join the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) on a contract basis.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

Education:
16 years of education in any of the following fields from an HEC-approved institution — Peace and Conflict Studies, International Relations (IR), Media & Communication Studies, Strategic Studies, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or Digital Forensics.

Experience:

  • 0–2 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field

  • Experience in OSINT, SOCMINT, GEOINT, Threat Intelligence, Digital Investigations, Online Research, and Analytical Reporting (relevant international certifications considered an added advantage)

  • Skills in developing and managing AI/software applications

  • Experience in media management, basic administration, and education

  • Specialized knowledge in peace and conflict resolution, narrative building, and counter-terrorism/extremism

GENERAL INFORMATION & INSTRUCTIONS

  1. The contract period is initially six (6) months and may become permanent based on performance evaluation.

  4. NACTA reserves the right not to fill any vacancy, or to reduce/increase the number of vacancies, as circumstances warrant.

  5. Candidates currently working in Public Sector Departments/Organizations must apply through proper channel and submit a Departmental Permission Certificate at the time of interview; failure to do so will disqualify them from participating.

  6. In addition to the 5-year general age relaxation already included above, further relaxation may be admissible as per the Relaxation of Upper Age Limit Rules, 1993.

  7. Minimum and maximum age will be calculated as of the closing date for receipt of applications.
